     Hello.  Welcome to our web page, and congratulations.  Because you are here, that means you have taken the trouble to research the different candidates running for office this year. We hope that the way we have designed this site will help you in your search. Brian Landsberger is a Republican candidate for the US House of Representatives, Nevada District One, 2012 election year.  The purpose of this website is to introduce Brian and give you useful information on his background, his view on the current political issues, and an insight on how he will approach issues and develop solutions that serve Nevada and the country.  Please send us any feedback you have toward improving this site. Overcoming Challenging Times

       Overcoming challenging times and putting the country on a solid course toward prosperity and fiscal responsibility , while maintaining the moral basis of America should be the goal of all members of Congress regardless of party affiliation.  There are widely known sound business approaches that can be helpful for Congress to achieve that goal.  First by clearly articulating and obtaining a consensus on the problems and the goals, and second by recognizing proven general solutions to problems and applying those solutions.

     After watching Congress in action, it often appears that solutions are presented, promoted and disparaged before the problem and goals are clearly stated and agreed upon.  Let's have Congress function more like a profitable business and work toward achieving common goals. Once the goals are set, all possible solutions are presented and the best solution, which could be a combination of those presented is chosen by consensus.

     The current challenges facing the country are unique to this time and place but they have elements that are common to problems that have been faced many times before throughout time.  For the most part, those problems were solved, some poorly, some very effectively.  By identifying the similar elements of our challenges with past challenges we can identify a general solution that can then be applied to our specific case.

     Campaigning for dollars is a proven method to start down the path of undue influence on a politician.  Once started on the campaign trail, none have been able to stop after entering office.   Therefore, the best solution is to not start in the first place.  Also, in today's digital environment, spending huge sums of money is unnecessary and often counterproductive.  You reading this shows that voters who take an interest can be reached by ideas not dollars.  So please spread the word, join the discussion for a better America and Nevada, but no need for donations now.
